Asha Rangappa, former director of the associate dean's office at Yale Law School and assistant Dean of the Jackson School of Global Affairs at Yale University is a senior lecturer, and a specialist in global issues. Asha Rangappa served as a Special agent within the New York Division FBI before she was appointed to her current job. She was a specialist in counterintelligence research. In her role she was able to assess dangers to the national defense and conducted classified investigations on possible foreign nationals. Asha was a former FBI agent in interrogation in electronic surveillance and interview methods. Asha graduated with a master's degree in international and public issues from Princeton. She also received an Fulbright grant to study constitutional change in Bogota. She graduated from Yale Law School as a Coker Fellow and was a legal assistant for Juan R. Torruella at the U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit of San Juan Puerto Rico. She is admitted by the New York State Bar, Connecticut and Connecticut. Asha has written op-eds for The New York Times The Wall Street Journal as well as The Washington Post among others and is presently a legal editor for ABC News. She is on the board of editors for Just Security as well as the Council of Foreign Relations.
