Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from music blogs as well as from the media. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. She started playing piano when she was six years old and started making music when she was 9 years old. Her family didn't know until the age of fourteen. Aurora was not a goal. Her only passion is to write music. According to her, she believes that music can help any person feel better.
